System requirements

  • x86-64 Linux with glibc 2.31+ (Ubuntu 20.04+, Debian 11+, Fedora 34+)
  • 512 MB of RAM and 100 MB of free disk space
  • systemd recommended for autostart; the client also runs standalone

What’s new in 1.4.2

  • The systemd user unit now restarts on failure by default.
  • The CLI gained spaceandwisewolf-play status --json for monitoring pipelines.
  • Resume markers sync in under a second across paired devices.

Install

  1. Extract the archive: tar -xzf spaceandwisewolf-play-1.4.2-linux-x64.tar.gz
  2. Run sudo ./install.sh for a system-wide install, or ./install.sh --user to install just for your account.
  3. Sign in with spaceandwisewolf-play login using the address of your server and the account your operator opened for you.
